The cards are ranked in descending order starting from the highest; Aces to twos, An Ace can be high or low. There are four suits of cards, each suit equal in value.

Each online poker player is dealt five cards and is called a hand in poker. In poker, the highest-ranking hand wins poker online.

An easy online poker game 5-Card-Draw and it is good to learn to play poker. Take a deck of 52 cards. To start, the online poker dealer gives each player five cards. To win a poker player must hold the winning poker hand, the highest-ranking poker hand.

Ranking order

Royal Flush - five cards with the highest value, Ace to ten and all of the cards are from the same suit. This hand always wins poker. Royal Flush is the highest natural hand .

Straight Flush - five cards of the same suit in uninterrupted numerical sequence (it doesn't matter which five consecutive numbers), and consists of five cards in sequence and of the same suit.

Four of a Kind - a hand that contains of four cards of the same rank. The hand with the highest rank of four-of-a-kind beats other four-of-a-kind hands.

Full House - three cards of the same value, and any pair of a different value. When Wild Cards are used in poker games online, ties are ranked first by the three-of-a-kind ranking, then the pair.

Flush - any five cards of the identical suit in any order.

Straight - five cards in a sequence of any suit or suits. Aces can be high or low.

Three of a Kind - three cards of the same value. Three of a Kind is similar to a four-of-a-kind hand, except that when the remaining two cards are a pair, it turns into a Full House.

Two Pair - any two pairs of two cards. Within each pair, the cards match in number value. For example in one pair the cards are a 4 of Hearts and a 4 of Spades and the second pair is 7 of Clubs and a 7 of Hearts.

Pair - any hand containing two cards of the same value.

High Card - in the case of no other hands, the player with the highest card wins. High Card is a hand that is none of the above and is a weak poker hand.

Basic Rules

1)  At the start of the online Poker game, the poker players ante up and place their bets in the poker pot online.

2)  The Internet poker dealer distributes five cards one at a time to each poker player.

3)  Poker players look at their cards, and decide their Internet poker strategies and bets.

4)  Each poker player can either 'Call', 'Raise' or 'Fold'. To fold is drop out of the round of poker and not play poker. To call means the online poker player matches the bet by placing the same cash bet in the poker pot. To raise means matching the bet and adding an extra bet to the online poker pot.

5)  'Pot' is a raise to the maximum, which means that bet is being raised to bet the same amount as the total money available in the pot.

6)  Players can swap up to a maximum of three cards from their hand. Players with an Ace swap up to four cards, with the stipulation that the player shows the Ace.

7)  One more round of betting begins.

8)  When there are no more raises in online poker and all the cards have been dealt, the online poker round ends.
